Our Apricot + Sesame bar is the best answer when it comes to satisfying a sweet tooth. Apricots are the fruity heroes of this combination, but it’s only with the support of sesame tahini that the taste of this dessert gains its volume and rich nutrional value. Tiny little sesame seeds account for a crunchy texture in this gentle dessert.

Ingredients

Apricots contain significant amounts of minerals such as potassium, calcium, iron, magnesium, and phosphorus. The high concentration of beta-carotene and lycopene makes them extremely good food for the heart health while the high content of vitamin A, an important antioxidant, promotes healthy vision and protects against free radicals. Apricots are an excellent source of dietary fibers, which helps to improve digestion and clean the body waste. High in pectin, apricots help to discharge body toxin.

There’s a reason that dates are being called ‘bread of the desert’: Those frugal fruits contain loads of vitamins from the groups A and B, essential amino acids, minerals and antioxidants and – after getting dried - oddly the amount of proteins is 10 times higher. Additionally dates are extremely rich in iron. After the consumption of dates, a rise of energy, as well as an increased concentration can be observed. Dates lower the level of harmful cholesterol in the human body and strengthen the immune system.

Our cacao butter is getting extracted directly from cocoa beans, being cold pressed to preserve their main valuable substances. Sesame seed is extremely rich in copper, manganese, magnesium, calcium, iron, phosphorus, zinc, vitamins B, vitamin E, and dietary fiber. In addition to these valuable minerals and vitamins, sesame contains two unique ingredients - sezamin and sezamolin, proven for its powerful antioxidant effects. Sesame improves metabolism, skin, hair and nails health, reduces bad cholesterol levels and acts as an aphrodisiac.

Flax seeds are considered one of the most helpful supplements for a healthy, athletic diet, due to its high amount of fibers, fatty acids, for example Omega-3, minerals, enzymes and various vitamins. Another advantage of flax seeds are the good digestibility, that makes it easy for the human body to extract and absorb these valuable substances.
